COMPANY DESCRIPTION
Kumpulan Fima Berhad, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the manufacturing, bulking, plantation, food, and other businesses in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. It produces and trades in travel documents, licenses, and other security and confidential documents; and offers bulk handling and storage of various liquid and semi-liquid products, including palm oil, biofuels, oleochemicals, specialty oils, industrial chemicals, and technical fats, as well as transportation and forwarding services. The company also owns and operates oil palm and pineapple plantations, as well as cultivates pineapple and rear cattle for beef production; manufactures and distributes canned mackerel, canned tuna, frozen tuna loins, vegetable cooking oil, beverages, and meat products under the Besta, Instanco, and Farmtree brand names, as well as provides contract food packaging for powdered beverages and condiments; and engages in rental and management of commercial properties, as well as trading activities. In addition, it is involved in engineering consultation services; warehousing; manufacturing, processing, refining, and treatment of biodiesel and refined oils; and import/export activities. The company was incorporated in 1972 and is headquartered in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
