The company was formerly known as Resorts World Bhd. Genting Malaysia Berhad was incorporated in 1980 and is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. As of December 1, 2025, Genting Malaysia Berhad operates as a subsidiary of Genting Berhad.
