It operates in three segments: Manufacture and Distribution of Glass Bottles; Manufacture and Distribution of Other Packaging; and Other Business. The company offers glass packaging products for applications in food and beverages, insecticides, and drugs; plastic packaging products, including PET bottle preforms, plastic bottles, and plastic caps; film labels, such as wrap and shrink films; corrugated boxes and sheets, post boxes, product trays, and corrugated box separators; flexible packaging products made from film, foil, and paper; glass containers; lids; aluminium packaging; facility, space, and supply chain management; and trading services. It also imports and distributes glassware products, including crystal and soda lime glass, and recycled glassware; and invests in other entities. The company was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in Pathum Thani, Thailand. BG Container Glass Public Company Limited is a subsidiary of Bangkok Glass Public Company Limited.
