Al Ain Ahlia Insurance Company P.S.C. provides insurance and reinsurance services in the United Arab Emirates. The company operates in two segments, Underwriting of General Insurance and Investments. The Underwriting of General Insurance segment offers fire, marine, motor, medical, general accident, and miscellaneous insurance products. The Investments segment provides investments in marketable equity securities and investment funds, development bonds, term deposits with banks, investment properties, and other securities. It also offers home, travel, and boat insurance, as well as school and family care package services. In addition, the company provides group medical, group life and personal accident, property, liability, financial line, aviation, oil and gas onshore and offshore, engineering and construction, and motor fleet insurance products, as well as miscellaneous insurance, including professional indemnity, directors’ and officers’ liability, fidelity guarantee, fire and allied perils, sabotage, terrorism, money/cash in transit, public and products liability, and workmen’s compensation insurance products. Further, it offers investment management services for commercial, retail trade, oil and natural gas, agricultural, industrial, educational, and tourist enterprises; and engages in the hotel apartment rentals business. The company was incorporated in 1975 and is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates.
