PetroVietnam Construction Joint Stock Corporation engages in the petroleum construction and installation, industrial construction, civil construction, and industrial production activities in Vietnam. It is involved in the design, construction, installation, maintenance, and repair of petroleum works, oil rigs, onshore and offshore rig jackets, and metal structures, as well as petroleum, LPG, and water tanks; fabrication and supply of casing pipes, fittings, connectors, and accessories for oil and gas exploitation and drilling; shipbuilding for transporting oil, gas, and chemicals; and supply of construction materials and equipment for petroleum industry. The company also engages in the investment and construction of mechanical fabrication plants, shipbuilding plants, and cement and construction material plants; survey, design, consultancy, execution, and installation of machinery systems, technological equipment, control devices, and automation systems for industrial works; construction of thermal and gas power plants; and installation of electric transmission line systems. In addition, it invests in, designs, and works as an EPC contractor for infrastructure, transportation, irrigation, embankments, and jetty projects. Further, the company invests in, consults, designs, and constructs civil works, offices, hotels, resorts, luxury residential buildings, steel-structured buildings, and skyscrapers; and invests in, constructs, and exploits industrial zones and their infrastructure, and new urban areas. Additionally, it produces and trades in mechanical products and building materials, as well as produces industrial products. The company was founded in 1983 and is headquartered in Hanoi, Vietnam.
